I discovered design through creatively sourced copies of Photoshop and architectural software from the early internet's back channels, IYKYK 😉. What began as late-night experimentation became an all-consuming love affair with visual storytelling. Don't ask to see my early design work, though. That goes with me to the grave.
After cutting my teeth at an interior design studio and earning my degree in Communication Design (go CSUN Matadors!), I joined the global team at AIDS Healthcare Foundation. There, I learned to tackle sensitive health topics with creativity and cultural nuance—making life-saving information accessible through thoughtful design. You can find my work during my time there here. It was rewarding to know my impact on a global scale, but I was ready to settle down, refine my style, and dive deeper into work that felt more personally connected to my personal creative vision.
Four years later, I went freelance and started working with and consulting with local Southern California hospitality brands and small businesses who were tired of blending into the background. My approach combines bold, story-driven design with psychology and emerging tech.
This work inspired me to create Synthesis Creative Co.—my first business venture that will expand on these services while adding a collection of humorous merch to the mix. Stay tuned for the official launch!
